Online Reporting System

TO REPORT AN EMERGENCY CALL 911

Welcome to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Online Reporting System.

Using this system allows you to submit certain reports online and print a copy for your records. You may report non-emergency incidents or crimes on minor criminal offenses, non-injury accidents, insurance reports, suspicious activity and more.

Please note:

  • All cases filed online will be reviewed.
  • Upon review, if further investigation is needed, you may be contacted.
  • The report MUST be factual.
  • FILING A FALSE POLICE REPORT IS A CRIME.
  • This reporting system does not provide emergency services and is not an alternative to emergency services. If this is an emergency, call 911 now.
  • Because the online report system uses Microsoft Silverlight, you will need to access the site from a PC or Mac. Most tablets are not supported.

Before filing your online report, you must answer the following questions. Your answers will determine whether filing a report online is right for you:

1 Is this an emergency? (If yes, call 911 immediately)

2 Is this incident in progress?

3 Is there physical evidence of this crime, such as video or digital evidence?

4 Do you believe you are the victim of a crime because of your race, religion, sexual orientation, handicap, ethnicity or national origin?

5 Did the incident occur on a state highway or freeway?

6 Do you understand that filing a false police report is a crime?

7 Did this occur within the jurisdiction of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon?

8 Is the value/damage less than $7,500?

9 Are you eighteen (18) years of age or older?

10 Do you have an email address? (A valid return email address is required in order to file an online report)
