This morning at about 0430 hours, the 911 center received a report of a structure fire at 194 Old County Lane, about 7 miles east of Myrtle Creek.

When emergency responders arrived on scene, the double wide mobile home was fully involved. The homeowners, Larry and Naomi Brubaker made it out of the home and were transported to Mercy Hospital where they were treated for smoke inhalation. Two other residents, 14 year old Spencer Brubaker and his 95 year old great-grandfather Pitchlynn Harris died in the fire.

Investigators are still on scene, but at this time the fire does not appear to be suspicious or criminal in nature.
